I finally used my PayPal account to buy something. Since I know they're perpetually financially strapped, I gave $10 to the always-reliable Blogger in exchange for 8,000 ad appearances on their front page. Keep in mind that 8,000 appearances really isn't a lot, seeing that there are about that many visits to Blogger in an HOUR (maybe more). But hey, I think it's a sweet deal. If I only get one click-thru, I'll still be happy. Blogger is such a great invention, and the people running the thing haven't sold out by placing any annoying pop-up ads or changed any of their policies ever since they opened the place... I'd give them $10 just for that. And I'm pretty damn sure now... I have the flu. Almost all of yesterday was spent sleeping. Since the cilia in my nose are completely clobbered, nothing tastes good, therefore I'm really hungry. When I finally tell myself that I'm ready to get up and do something productive, I become really tired and I have to take a nap. And if you must know, +3# |Dr0|\| |)0|\|+ G3+ |\/|3 #4r|). Today is the second full day staying home from school... dammit. I was aiming for perfect attendance this year, just as a personal goal. For the first time this year, I'm home sick from school. Bryan informs me that almost everyone at the party over the weekend got sick too. Stupid parties. I'm never going to them again. Damn... I thought I'd have a lot more to say, but all that I'm thinking about right now is my sore throat and runny nose. And how my Motrin is supposed to kick in any time now and make me drowsy. Oh yeah... it was my dad's birthday today, and because I was sick, I didn't get to go out to dinner with him. Instead I stayed home and ate some horrible Wolfgang Puck microwave lasagna which my stepmom accidentally bought for me. That microwave pasta crap is AWFUL. It either burns up and sticks to the plastic case, or doesn't get cooked properly and crumbles into some sort of pasta powder. AWFUL, I say. Fortunately, I washed it down with Ben and Jerry's "Everything but the..." an EXCITING new flavor with a whole bunch of assorted stuff in it. Speaking about food, if I'm feeling well enough tomorrow I'll be running a booth at my school's Multicultural Week Food Fair, trying to make some sort of profit from sushi. I originally planned to make the sushi, but yet again, that plan fell short because of my being sick... and also because I've never made sushi and would probably suck at it. So I'll just buy some from the supermarket and arrange it neatly. I actually did start at school this morning, because my drama class is in the middle of a video unit, so I HAD to be there to act as the grand-uncle in this pseudo home video that we're making. So after the end of every scene, I nearly coughed my lungs out. Wasn't a good day today. I updated the MIDIs page with a few more FAQs, a Requests section, and a Table of Contents. And now about my weekend. Anyone who comments knows about Wacko3629 and Badturkeys, the utter FREAKS that LITTER my comments with RECTANGLES and other WANGO JANGO. They're pretty cool. Well, Badturkeys (Adam) invited me over to his house, which is high atop this mountain that I've never seen that's pretty close to my house. It's like he's some wise man or something that I have to drive vertically to get to. Yeesh. Wacko3629 (Bryan) was there too, as well as everyone else from Bouncy Fish. To my surprise, Bryan had never seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail, so we watched it. I pigged out on pizza and teal-colored M&M's. Everyone started dry-humping each other as I left Goatse open on a computer screen for everyone to gape at. Mad, mad funxorz. Wow, I just found a way to make cash. And for YOU to bump your MIDIs to the top of my list. Get my drift? I added a PayPal button to the side of my page. If you send me $5, I will bump your MIDI to the top of my list, meaning that I'll start working on it right away. Hellfire104 has paid me $5, and now I'm working on his MIDI. All he has to wait for now is for me to finish making his MIDI. Of course, it's completely optional to pay me anything... I'll still compose and sequence for free... nothing will change for people who are waiting, and my policy will not change for any future requests. The only catch is that you'll have to wait on line (that's always been the catch).
